Preschool

The preschool have been learning about oral hygiene for ‘national smile week’ so all the children have been brushing their teeth, using mouthwash and learning teeth songs. We also have learnt a lot about new life having nursery chick’s hatch and watching our tadpoles turn into frogs that now live down our nursery allotment who we have been visiting weekly

Allotment

We will be running allotment trips every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.

Tadpoles

The Tadpoles have been doing science experiments with lots of different materials and resources

They also have been recycling doing boxing modelling activities, planted seeds in bottle gardens and working hard becoming ‘ECO warriors’

Hope you all can make our ECO greenhouse day on the 27th June at our nursery allotment.

Signing in book

Please ensure that you sign your child in and out of the building at all times. And only you enter the building when buzzed in. The signing in book is located in the foyer. This is a health and safety requirement. Many thanks.

Cooking

Cooking club will be taking place every Thursday afternoon

Keighley Hayman who is Kim Hayman’s on the baby floor daughter. She is currently studying at university but will working with us over the summer with all age groups

21st July – preschool to visit elderly home

8th September – Grant only children due back

Baby room – Butterflies

Zoo discovery school

We have started a 5 week zoological discovery school which will include subjects Mammals, Aquatic’s, Reptiles, Birds, Plants and mini-beasts please collect a ‘zoo discovery guide’ from the nursery foyer of activities you can do at home to support your child in this experience.

Forest School

Forest school will now be running every Monday and Tuesday for the next 8 weeks. If your child is attending, please remember to name and provide weather suitable clothes for your child. Many thanks.

Congratulations to Celine who has a left us on 21st May to get a promotion within the company at our sister nurseries
