Filton February 2014 Abbeywood tots newsletter
The frogs have been investigating weather; they have looked at the difference between a typhoon, hurricane and tornado. They have also created a vortex in water. We used material to make the wind visible as it floated and flapped around. We have also explored space and made flying saucers and telescopes. We also had a visit from two policemen.
We made flying saucers and telescopes
We blew water to see the effects wind have on water
We made wind socks which we took outside to show the wind blowing
We made a giant vortex and used glitter to make this visible, we also made small one
