Pre-School Routine
Pre-school children typical routine
7.00am Welcome And Early Morning Session
During this time children are welcomed by staff ,Children have access to resources of their choice
8.00am Welcome & Free Play
The children self register their names and are invited to choose their free play activities.
9.00am B.O.B Time (Best of Both - child initiated and adult led activities)
The children are gathered together and staff engage the children with discussions about the day. . Some Children work in small groups with an adult and the remaining children have the choice of activities ,such as role play, construction, mark making and painting. There is a host of free play activities to choose from inside and outside (irrespective of weather , under covered outdoor areas).
9.30am - 10.30am Breakfast / Snack bar
Children serve themselves organic home made waffles and fresh fruit and drinks , children are also encouraged to wash up their own dishes.
11.15am - Carpet Time and sunshine board
We celebrate the mornings achievements followed by a story or music time
11.30am - Teacher time
Adult led activity time, focusing on the children's interest
12.00pm Lunch
During our lunch time period the children enjoy a healthy range of organic foods, which they are encouraged to collect themselves.

A self service snack bar is available from 2.30pm

We celebrate the afternoons achievements followed by a story or music time
4.00pm Tea Time
During our Tea time period the children enjoy a healthy range of organic foods, which they are encouraged to collect themselves.
4.30pm
All child initiated activities are offered inside and outside, under close supervision of staff ready to help and extend the child's learning as necessary.
6.00pm Nursery Closes
Children are collected by parents and say goodbye for the day, collecting their precious items to take home.
